Thomas Hamill. Private Thomas Hamill of the Royal Scots was born in Tayport Fife Scotland in 1914. From a large family he had nine brothers and sisters. He was wounded in the fighting for Hong Kong Island on December 21st 1941 and was lost on the Lisbon Maru.
